Development of the XY-stage balancing robot system
My current research is about the use of the XY-stage balancing robot system in both rehabilitation and sports.
First, a simple model of the robot considering the human balance is derived. For sports application, the balancing robot has been given a programmed disturbance to disrupt the balance of the human. In this case, users can improve their balancing ability. For rehabilitation application, the balancing robot helps the users to maintain balance.
